I am a Mother, an athlete, an Acupuncturist, a college teacher, and a seeker of knowledge.

I have the biggest admiration for this Medicine. In all of my almost 15 years of practice, I have seen profound changes at both, the physical and emotional levels in my patients (and in myself).

I received my Master’s degree in Acupuncture in 2008, from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA. I’ve practiced at community clinics, treated hundreds of patients in that style, and then decided to slow down and open a private practice.

Teaching at Pacific College of Health and Sciences has been a major addition to my career and I love sharing my passion of acupuncture with my students.

My areas of focus have shifted many times throughout these 15 years – I have taken deep dives into many different fields of study: I have gone from the deep emotional and spiritual roots of the Daoist medicine to the much more neuroscience based aspects of electrical stimulation recently.

There are many  PubMed published studies on the efficacy of acupuncture for just about any ailment. I love digging deep into all of that. I am an investigator of truths and I am always studying and growing.

It will be an honor to guide you back into optimal health. I truly mean it when I say I lead a Modern approach to the Ancient Wisdom.

I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and have spent the last 2 decades in the US. I speak Portuguese and English fluently, and can speak and understand Spanish well.

This is a list of some of the seminars that I have attended since 2020. I attend on average, about 30 hours of courses per year in varied areas of acupuncture and herbal medicine.
